Internship & Job Placement
Fondazione Campus believes that vocational training
within companies plays an important role in the
professional and personal growth of students and
complements what students have learnt throughout the
courses. The Campus has its own official Internship and
Job Placement department giving students of both the
Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses the necessary
support needed. The benefits of this service are numerous
with student satisfaction as its main focus. |

Services offered by the Program.
The main activities carried out by the staff of the Internship & Job Placement for students of the Campus
and companies are:
- Organisation of workshops, meetings and interviews for careers guidance selection of the Internship
and employment opportunities;
- Internship advice is given on subject material and employment through individual interviews with
students held daily during public hours;
- Support with the compiling and editing of necessary tools required when applying for work in either
Italian, English, Spanish, German or French languages such as the curriculum vitae, letter of
presentation and student transcripts, etc;
- Gathering and analysis of internship requests from students and graduates;
- Reviewing of requests to evaluate the eventual prospective work opportunities from business
partnerships;
- Research of possible internships and/or employment opportunities in line with the needs and
professional ambitions of each student;
- Providing information to arrange agreements with companies, institutions and associations;
- Regular contact with companies and institutions, so as to collect and assess possible training offers;
- Support in the selection of candidates who meet the needs of companies;
- Preparation of internship projects in collaboration with tutors and business managers;
- Implementation of all administrative tasks required by law;
- Continuous monitoring of students development throughout the internship;
- Job placement.

Who can offer an internship?
An internship can be offered by public and private companies who operate in the sectors consistent with the
training path of the Campus.
Areas of interest for the development of internships:
- Tourist promotion companies;
- Cooperative companies and consortiums in tourism;
- Associations and organisations that relate to the third sector and operate within the tourism system;
- Organisations of cultural events and expositions;
- Cultural and Environmental Heritage;
- Governmental and Non-Governmental Organisations in Tourism, Cultural and Environmental
Heritage and local development;
- Traditional or multimedia Tourism publishing;
- Travel agencies and tour operators;
- Hotel Management;
- Public Relations agencies;
- Art Galleries and Museums
- Other related companies.
The collaboration between Fondazione Campus Studi del Mediterraneo and the companies involved are
regulated by a five-yearly mandatory agreement.
Who can be a part of the Internship Program?
An internship is undertaken by students registered in the three-year under-graduate courses, masters and
training courses organised by the Fondazione Campus.
The Internship Department of the Campus proposes its students complete internship training of 3-6 months
allowing the complete vision of each facet of the actual referential company.
The full length of the Internship program must not exceed more than 12 months. |

Job Placement:
90% of students who have completed the under-graduate and post-graduate courses, training courses or
Masters organized by Fondazione Campus, have so far been employed in Tourism.
Graduated students:
- 37% have continued with Postgraduate or Masters in Tourism;
- 63% have found employment in Tourism in Italy or abroad in the following areas: hotel management, tour
operator agencies, on cruise liners, tourist promotional companies, local marketing companies, tourist public
relation agencies, museums and art galleries.
